I am a cutter. I am 12 years old. I guess I cut because I feel like I am disappointing everyone. Mainly my parents. People say that people cut for attention.

Many cutters fight back saying things like “If it’s for attention, why are we hiding? Why are we lying?”

But I think that it’s completely different.

I just don’t know what happens to me sometimes, it is strange. I start saying things that I really shouldn’t say, I ruin everything around me because of this terrible habit. i grew up with both my parents being psychologists, arguing was usually a nightmare, watching them fight before the divorce was almost worse not that i was ever too broken up about it.
