100 Days Clean!!

I became 100 days clean from cutting on December 11,2014. I never thought that I’d make it. My best friend helped me get to this special day and he’s helped me stay on the right path. He’s so proud of me.

Today is now December 21,2014 and I am now 110 days clean.

I want people who are having struggles trying to stay clean to know that it’s okay. Anything is possible with the right support and guidance. Set goals for yourself. Believe in yourself.

Who understands what this feels like. Who knows the pain I’m in. Who lives with suicidal thoughts everyday of their life. I don’t want to die but I don’t want to be here. Does anybody understand? As we all know, plenty of aspects of life aren’t very easy to handle. But I learned that through difficulty there is greater strength to gain alongside experience and maturity. Sometimes I wonder why is it that if you are in the middle of one of life’s struggles, it becomes difficult to believe in looking at that bright side. I want to know what you really would like to see from people who are supporting you?

I see these ads for a self-help depression website on TV and online a lot. It’s depression.org.nz and it’s for New Zealanders (though I’d imagine others can access it). Heaps of the media messages have been about getting out there and telling people, family and friends, about how you are feeling. However no mass-media campaign in NZ has yet to inform people specifically how they can help.

My boyfriend is the only one who I told I’m breaking,I think he’s forgotten though.

He just keeps getting mad and upset and frustrated wih me and he tells me I’m pushing him away and I tell him things about ex’s and he struggles too forgive me but I’ve forgiven him for so much that hes done in his past.

how good moments before sleep feels. i feel like finally its ending, finally i’m going to be unconscious. i feel like tomorrow is gonna be totally different; i’m gonna be totally different. actually i feel glad that tomorrow is not gonna be ‘me’, it will be somebody else who will wake up and face all the struggles. me is ending today. its almost like suicide, only there is no fear or selfishness attached because of trust. and yet its me who wakes up again, with all the same sameness. do i anymore belong here? is this a new escape trick my mind is playing?
