My body…

As i lay i count the amount of scars on my body. My broken cut ridden scarred body…

I start counting, and only count what is still visible after months to years of time for the wounds to heal. My scars all have a story of their own, and all signify a problem, feeling of hopelessness and lost cause, emotionless, a perfect day in hiding.

6 months ago, my 12 year old brother was in independent detention when he tried to choke himself with the wire of a spiral notebook. Gladly, someone caught him and they had the school’s deputy escort him to a behavioral institution. so scared.

i went to one, just a check-up
with my parents
the other day

and when she did that fabric around your arm
that squeezes

well before she did it really

she had to tell me

So, I stumbled upon this site from Google. I haven’t been very depressed recently, and actually, my life has somewhat improved. It still is hard, but I would like to share my experience with you all.

I was 9 years old, and it was the summer after 3rd grade.
I had been raised by a loving, Catholic family, and went to a Catholic school. In my eyes, the world was a lovely place, and there was no other place I’d rather be. I had one best friend who I spent every day with. To me, everyone believed in God, because who wouldn’t?

When it rains it always brings feelings back to me. I like the rain, no matter how cold it is outside, no matter hot it is.Â It is dark now and my window is open I am listening to the rain and I am crying. Advice? Anyone?

Does anyone have any advice on how to get the inner strength to wear a t-shirt in public and let my self-harming scars show? They are all over my arm, on the inside and out. All up and down. They stick out so much. It’s obvious they are from cutting. I’m able to wear shorts and I have cuts on my leg but not as bad as my arm.
