Had to write haikus for class, thought I’d share.
Glow-in-the-dark stars
Plastered on your room’s ceiling
We camp out on your floor
Tiny parasites
Feasting on flesh and blood
Pink polka-dot scars
Bundles of firewood
Tucked under thieving arms
Warmth at dawn
I was on an escalator at the mall. So I was there occupying a huge fucking space and there’s this woman who wants to go through. Seems on a hurry. She then says, “Excuse me.” With a firm tone. And I said sorry, which is a habit of mine, and she thanked me.
I don’t know about the others but this seriously warmth my heart. For a person who’s so busy, she didn’t forget to thank a person.
It was a nice feeling, really.
I dont want sex, I dont want children, nor father or mother, brother or sister. No matter how hard I try to distance myself from others my body craves warmth. I just want warmth, to hold someone regardless of gender, to feel safe even as the world crumbles to dust. It’s funny how sometimes the most random thing could make you happy.we were conducting a field exercise when during the middle of our break the sun started to show up. my buddies started singing “here come the sun” by the beatles and it was one of the most calming and serene moment i’ve ever experienced, especially since for the last two days it was raining the whole time. we all basked in the warmth and knew that everything was going to be all right.

My life feels like I’m walking on a rock road.. Always cold and dark. Never knowing if I’m going to trip. When I do, I hesitate to get back up. Afraid of tripping and falling again. I always get back up though. Some falls take longer to stand up from.. Something keeps me going down this road.. I hear them, talking, bitching, jeering.. They are trying to make me do some bad shit.. Kill her..she deserves to die.. No she hasn’t done anything… Yet. They make me cut.. Deeper, deeper..
