i feel like a reject. No one sees me, no one hears me, no one wants me. I try to get my voice heard, but I’m always overpowered by someone else, usually by those with a stereotype. I don’t fit in, but that’s the trend right now isn’t it? And it’s usually the odd ones that get all the recognition. But even I don’t feel like a part of that group. It’s as if I’m the reject of the rejects.

I use to be very popular, but lately I’ve become sad, alone, and depressed and have pushed everyone away from me. You’re not a reject, your just you. Look for people who you see to be like you, and they likely will be, those are the people you want to be friends with. The odd looking people are always the understanding ones.
Just giving you my thoughts: I think Internet is the greatest human invention that I’m thankful. because I’ve met some of my Real-life friends who tends to be odd too, yet very understanding, all from online/Internet interaction first. Be it a forum like Personality Type forum (ie: have you tried the Myers-Briggs Personality Type test? you might want to try it here, it’s free, and it’s very useful IMHO: http://sminds.com/mbti/ ), or a mailing list, or even a website like this one.
Some people would probably caution you of beware making friends online, as they’re often fake, not real, etc. But I think it’s not entirely true. I am the proof of it.
I think it’s really just a matter of using our common-sense, I’m sure you can usually notice which ones are the ‘fake’ one on the Internet from the Real one. Use your intuition.
If not because of Internet (online), I’m not sure if my life could still be bearable.
The easiest example perhaps is this website here (SP).
strangely, I can relate MUCH more with all the posts & people here, much more than the tend-to-be ‘superficial’ people I’ve encountered in my Real life!
I’ve even befriended with some people here, we continue on email, Facebook, etc. and I’m glad I know them.
Just give it a time, and remember, be open-minded. and you might be pleasantly surprised on what you’ll find.
