Every night i go to my backyard to clean our pool, pick up after thdaog ect. and every night i see orion’s belt. Im not too into to science and stars but i cant help but smile when i see it. If ur not familiar with it, its 3 stars in a stairght line that make up the “belt” of the stick figure orion. For some reason seeing it every night, it just gives me hope…i mean if its a clouldy overcast night i still find it…wierd right? And i know im too old to be wishing on stars but sometimes i cant help but close my eyes and wish that everything will work out, ill be ok…and yeah maybe it probably wont work…but then again maybe it will. Anyways it gives me a small burst of happiness and hope even if its a little childish. Please dont respond with stop wasting my time gazing at stars because then u would just be wasting ur time typing it cuz i wont listen ;]

stop wasting your time gazing at stars…lol just kidding, pretty much anything we do could be considered a waste of time. Hey at least it makes you happy, what better use of time is there then that.
Wthout dreams life would be pointless…
my piont exactly 🙂 hey no hard feelings about “want to talk…cant sleep” right?
no hard feelings..
awesome just wanted to make sure haha
I’m more than double your age and I’m not a troll. I’m a suicidal adult. We’re not gonna be friends. I hope things work out for you.
ooookkkkk a simple “uhhu good night” or no response at all would have serficed but ok hope things work out for u too
G’night. Wish U the best.
hmm Shaolin that came off probably sounding more rude then you intended it to be. Why should you be so sure that you couldn’t be friends? Also why comment on her post in the first place if that is how you feel? Seems to me that the main benefit of this site is that people can maybe find friends that might be able to help them through tough times.
@what am I doing here: I’m an asshole even when I don’t mean to be one. Life long curse.
thanks whatamidoing dont worry ive dealt with lots of jerky people but thamks none the less :]
@shaolin lol I think we can all be assholes at times, I imagine that most of the time you aren’t though.
Thanks WAIDH; I got my own issues, trying to be decent towards others. I hate lying to people & I don’t know why the fuck I’m even here. People who intentionally misspell words deserve their own section in Hell….
ok well i will be very careful to use spell check when ever i post from now on…yesh started witht stars end up with hell
well I wouldn’t really classify him as a jerk, as he said he didn’t mean it that way. I just think some of us don’t always express our thoughts as nicely as we can. I am sure that I am a jerk at times to.
agreed we r all jerks sometimes :]
@shaolin well generally I don’t really worry to much about what I say to people or how I say it, just on this site I try to be more polite and more tolerant when I can. Simply because of the nature of the site you never know what state of mind the other people on here might be in. lol people intentionally misspelling words can be annoying I remember when leet speek was really popular online and every other post you read on some message boards half the letters were replaced with numbers l1k3 s0. There were even firefox plugins that would automatically convert what you typed into leet speak, I am rather glad that fad seems to have passed.
im not the one that misspells words or atleast not on purpose geez
You guys are overly sensitive. Get over it. I wonder more about where precisely where to introdce a bullet to the back of the head (between the 3rd & 4rt vertabrae) severing the conection between the brain & the vertbrae. If the bullet enters below the 4th vertabrae we’re looking at paralysis. So it matters.
I like to stare at Orion’s belt too! I’m always afraid I’m going to run into something when I walk my dog or fall in the pool when I’m walking/running around it for exercise. If wishing on stars helps you, great, but remember that god helps those who help themselves.
Well I know what you mean about being an asshole and not really meaning to be one…Ah well.
I wouldn’t say overly sensitive. Meh, don’t see why we couldn’t stick to the topic of dreams or the stars or some such thing?
Why not simply aim for the head…Seems a bit difficult to aim to separate the brain and vertebrae. Seems more chance to miss and, like you said, cause paralysis.
look ok u commented on my post, i wanted to make sure that there eas no hard feelings since u were randomly bad mouthing on yet another one if my posts yesterday, when i responded with “awsome” u responded with grumpy fest, after u said good night andthe subject was dropped u commented again! Seriously if i annoy u so much than STOP COMMENTING!!! Its not that hard. Oh and just cuz im not posting jump off the empire state building or cut my writs in a hot bath doesnt mean im not thinking it, doesnt mean ur probelms are bigger than mine. And just cuz ur twice my age doesnt mean anything eithet, in case u frogot senior yr is stressful and hard with everyone telling u what ti do and all i want to do is crawl in a hole and stay there. Oh amd if ur having money probelms,my dad got carbin monoxide piosioning from his last job is currenrtly trying to sue but is outof work, my mom has her hands full with my 3 little siblings and imtrying to figure out a way to buy ( cuz they arent letting us rent) a cap and gown for graduation. Oh and on top of that i was abused as a child and have suffered from bulling since kindergarden so SCREW OFF!! Oh and im very sorry if i spelled anything wrong
hmm well if I was going to go that route I would probably go for bigger bullets. Maybe those hollow point rounds try to maximize the damage, so maybe you could be less precise with the accuracy of the placement?
@ conrad and willtricken thanks for ur support and civilized comments :]
Mhm, I like to keep comments and posts like that… Bah. When everybody starts to rage and trololol, meaning to or not, I just find it ridiculous. Look this place is for venting, not another place to be angry at people. Ayeyeye…
Anyway, wish I wasn’t in the city with all the damn light pollution. Would be awesome to see some more stars. Though Orion is usually visible. Along with a planet or two and a few other stars… As much as I dislike going out in nature and camping, I still like the aspect of looking up and seeing billions of stars, it’s so vast.
Also at Shaolin I don’t mean to bash or belittle you. I can understand you too have reasons for being here.
yeah im not too much into csmping either…bad experience( long story short i was left behind for an hour and i could think anout was friday the 13) but yeah i used to live in the valley and every piece of sky was shimmering with stars…
@ teen girrrl 17: Sorry if I offended U. (Bad spellers annoy me).
sorry i told u to screw off i know u must have your own reasons for being here
@tg17: Bah, bet that wasn’t a fun experience. Would have definitely freaked me out a wee bit. Wow…I am a little jealous though of that sky.
@Shaolin: Heh, “grammar nazi” eh? I used to( and still do occasionally ) have problems with misspelling or improper grammar. I’ve learned to live with it. Unless the person is being a complete jerk and/or arrogant, etc etc. If I can understand what they are trying to convey, I’m fine. Not every feels the need to be so formal, etc. I try not to hold it against them.
@will: nope definitly not fun haha but the open sky is absolutly breath taking. I wish i had even one artist bone in my body so i could draw/paint it…i can barle scketch a stick figure haha
friday the 13th, I used to love those cheesy horror films that and nightmare on elm street and of course the halloween films the remakes of those were great… I think I saw Jaws a few to many times though swimming in the ocean scares the crap out of me.
haha yeah my lil cousin saw jaws and refused to go in th pool! She thought it would find a way in lol
Artistic bone…you and me both. I wish. Sadly I can only admire and dream of doing such things.
I was never one for those horror movies. Half was because they were just over the top gorey and ridiculous. You know it’s not real…and so as with most “scary” things I’d just try to over analyze it all…”Oh, gee wonder how they did that effect and had the blood spurt like that?”…”Was that really necessary, could have easily done X.”. W/e. And plus horror movies today are just gorno…bleh.
Jaws lol. Well yea sharks are sharks. Feel free to research sharks and statistics, maybe you’ll feel more safe? Though my sister was afraid of pools and oceans or pretty much any body of water after Jaws too.
yeah i cant really watch scary moviess but tjats cuz i have an overly active imagination…i make it ten times worse
haha yea well of course statistically speaking your odds of getting eaten by a shark are probably right up there with being struck by lightning. But of course it is still possible and fear isn’t always a rational thing. Open Water was another movie that was just ugh. Its not just sharks out there, there are jellyfish and those giant squid things and who knows what else lol
Heh, my imagination can be dead so thankfully that doesn’t occur to me. Though when I was younger and watched something scary or involved death of sorts and then I went to sleep, it would be all I thought about. Too bad now that I want death I’d like someone to just come and do it for me.
Though actually recently started using a razor( rather than my knife ), watched a show where a guy swallowed razors in food. Now I’m paranoid I’ll somehow swallow it or one of my pets will. Sure that’s a way to die for me, but uh certainly not one I’d choose. -shudder-
Ye, should’ve seen that – fear doesn’t need to be rational. I don’t think I saw Open Water… Yea jellyfish freak me out. Had some on our beaches and just made me think of them stinging my legs or something bleh. Well good thing I don’t go to the beach.
Heh…just went on Netflix. First thing I see: Carl Sagan’s Cosmos
Cosmos Carl Sagan I think that is an older series isn’t it? I kind of want to watch that Morgan Freeman hosted series “Through the Wormhole”, but for some reason I never seem to get around to it, even though I downloaded it weeks ago.
Those dead movies never really scared me that much, although watching poltergeist as a kid when I was like 5 was bad, stupid tree snatching the kid and those coffins just popping out of the ground and skeletons in the swimming pool ugh. The Ring was pretty creepy and The grudge those Japaneese do know how to make some decent horror films
‘When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are….’ It’s all good. Whatever allows you to feel good, has to be good! Cheers!
Man, my dad always used to point it out and I was so slow, I never got it.
Plus, he pointed out the sword. Come on. The “sword”? Really? Astrology, you’re so gay.
🙂
