My greatest advice is to say screw them. If their criticism isn’t constructive they’re just saying it to make themselves feel better, if only for a moment. It’s what you think of yourself and what you truly believe, because at the end of the day, they get to go home and sleep like a baby. We get to go home, suffer our illnesses, maybe sleep for an hour or two then get up, suffer some more and repeat. We are stronger than they could ever even dream to be. So if your happy with yourself, screw what anyone else thinks. Be happy.
Ultimately, maibri, you set the strategy for where your road of life will take you. The people around you might contribute to the environment you’re in. I’m sorry to read of your medical issues… and I hope that you’re receiving the best possible care. Life can be harsh in the way of health issues. I hope you continue moving forward… More than one person has accomplished so much more than doctors or anyone else thought possible.
