I’m here for the same reasons as everyone. I am wondering what people think about whether or not to leave a suicide note or not. People will be sad either way, its just whether a note will give some closure or make it harder.
Please let me know what you think.

Well it depends why you’re going…
Don’t mind me asking but if you have people that will be sad, aren’t they enough to make you keep going?
Life just isn’t for me, I have done the med’s, the psychiatry, i have a good job, make an alright living. But nothing makes me happy. And I don’t think its fair on me to live for the sake of others happiness.
It’s not fair on you but you see every problem has a solution…and no that’s not one of the crazy message that Shrinks try to drill into the brain. There really is a solution, but you have to find it. You have to find what makes your life worthwile.
As for whether to leave a note or not it’ll hurt more if you leave a note. My best friend killed herself in front of me and that is the reason why i’m sitting here on this site. It hurts with a note but without a note will be even worse as they will blame what happened on themself and again might give themselves a hard time.
I’m sure it does, but every solution just brings another problem, and the circle continues. Do you think that an “accident” would be easier on others?
I would say if ur going to do it then people deserve an explanation as to why, tho if u can make it look like an accident thats easiest on others, at least they wont blame themselves
The only problem with the accident method is that I have been planning for the helium hood method. I can’t come up with a painless almost certain accident method.
I think you should explain why you don’t want to be here in a note, I tried before and I wrote a note, made me feel better because even though i don’t want to hurt my mum, i didn’t want her to think its her fault and that she failed me
Dont like the helium hood method. Have yet to hear from someone who was sucsessful lmao but prefer nicoteen method
I have never heard from anyone who’s had a successful suicide with any method.
That was ment to be a joke. sorry, no sleep and a hangover

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN THEIR BUD IF I WAS YOU THEN I WOULD LEAVE A NOTE EXPLAIN TO PEOPLE HOW YOU FEEL NOT EVERYBODY WILL UNDERSTAND WHY SO A NOTE MAY OFFER SOME COMFORT
I hope you decide not to do anything which needed the note. With that said, I would leave a note. Personally, I wouldn’t use a note to lash out at people. Again, I hope there is some other solution to what you’re experiencing.
umm i dont know ive made a note before not for awareness but emotion then i realized you never know who will read it and when your still alive and they read it thats BAD sorry if dis dont make sense its just my experience.
I would leave a note without too much emotion, but explaining the logic behind your suicide. It’s not an easy note to write because it’s difficult to self-analyse and determine what the logical reason for suicide would be; you tend to be caught up in a storm of emotion at the time of decision.
It’d be worth it though; because ambiguity perpetuates ignorance and gives others a licence to ostracise you or blame others; whereas cold logic forces them – and you – to confront a concrete sense of reason and rationality behind your decision.
By writing that kind of letter, it’ll force you to ground yourself in logic, and it might even help open your eyes to the meaning behind your pain. You might even change your mind after writing the letter. You never know.
Id just leave it with “my reasons are my own, no one but me is to be blamed for this. It was my decission. im sorry” short and sweet
