Of course you don’t have to go to law school to become a cop so that right there is very scary. If they don’t know the law then WTF , how are they supposed to make sure to enforce them right? Unless your brother wasn’t supposed to “brandish ” the weapon and only pull it if he was going to use it. Yes brandishing a weapon is a crime in some states like Oregon. It’s weird dude the law works very weird in many states. I would seriously look up your gun laws in your state.
