I’m in Ohio. 🙂
Those aren’t recent — most aren’t. They’re from over the summer. Most of the plants are dying back here, too. I still have my tobacco plants going strong, but I can’t seem to find any pictures of them. o.O

Have to take some in a little bit.

All you get movie Qu In nature’s scheme of things, there are certain plants which are carnivorous, or eating plants. The Venus Fly Trap is one of the best known of these plants. A fly drawn to the plant by its sweet syrup, brushes against triggered bristles. Just how these plants digest their pray has yet to be explained. There is much still to learn about these fascinating eating plants. This is a newcomer: Triffidus Celestus, brought to earth on the meteorite during the Day of the Triffids It’s English. movie.

@ Donnie I’ve watched that movie, it came on at Christmas. It was based on the book. Triffids scare the shit out of me. Wouldn’t want to come across one of those I’ll tell you that for nothing

The way carnivorous plants work is actually well-documented. As I said in my other post, I’m absolutely obsessed with CP’s – especially nepenthes and sarracenia species. There must also be drosera.

@orangish I had a dream about several giant carnivorous plants a while ago. They remind me of the vagina dentata.
