Four months. Four long months I went without cutting. All down the drain last night. There is about 42 cuts in a 1×2 inch patch on my leg. I guess there is no going back now. But I started a chain reaction in my friends. They started cutting again too. This is all my fault now all I want to do is cut more.

Of course you can go back. Breaking your streak is no reason to give up. Simply start a new one. Someone hiking up a mountain shouldn’t let their body fall into the mud and slide all the way back down to the base simply because they stumble along the way. Get up and keep moving forward.
Stop this. You can stop this. Talk to someone, a friend, someone who understands your pain, if no one else, talk to me, share your problems and work on finding a solution, cutting yourself is not it.
Well now Ny leg has up to 67 or so cuts on it. (Not exaggerating at all. I wish I was.) And I have no friends who are able to talk right now.
