He calls it “Summer Land”
Where we go to reflect and rest
Where our favorite teachers come to teach us again
Where the things we loved once
We get to do again
I imagine the entrace is something like the last shot
in “The Gladiator” so brightly lit
his hands graze over the grass
as he enters the heavy once bolted door
There are activities and plays inside
We get to see the ones we love
once again

Sweet poem. Is it about dying to be reunited with the people and things we love? I think that’s a good reason to die. Why I’m going to die. And that’s all that matters… being with who we love, isn’t it?
Nicely written poem, I love that last scene in the gladiator. death for me however would be to get away from ppl i once loved..
I wish I died while I still thought people loved me. That would have been nice.
