I try to give them clues.. How come no one hears the screams inside my head? I tell my dad I have lots of bruises but what he doesnt know is my boyfriend hits me. I tell people that see my cuts it was the cat and they move on. Maybe they do hear.. they just dont care enough to do anything.

acry-forhelp – people aren’t mind readers, and a lot of them aren’t very observant or intuitive. If you want help, ask for it. If you want them to know you are being abused, tell them. I’m sure they would care and try their best to help if they knew the truth.
Yes GoodGirl is right. I could be trying to explain one of the simplest things but as a rule I would need to go over and over it for the information to flow. We really need to be blunt otherwise no one will have a clue what we are thinking.
