I wasn’t expecting miracles and fireworks or for things to suddenly take a turn for the better today, but it doesn’t hurt hoping. Once again hope has let me down

The evil birthday (and holidays in general) can be the biggest curse for someone who’s very depressed, particularly if they are also alone.
Try to get through the day. Do one good thing for yourself; just one.
