im a 48 yr old man thats decided that ive had enough of this life, ive decided that april 30 is gonna be the day, what better day than the same date that i came into this world
I would really like to communicate with you. If you revisit this blog, please get back to me. Or have you considered contacting the Samaritans? I do not know your problems and what brought you to this point, but would like you to know that there are people who care and there are alternatives.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re planning to kill yourself. I don’t know the circumstances behind your decision but I really hope you make an effort to tell someone close to you that you’re feeling suicidal.
If you are determined on this course of action, and if you think there’s some significance in killing yourself on your birthday, would you at least consider waiting for your 50th birthday instead of your 49th birthday? In the meantime, please do reach out to someone and tell them how you’re feeling. You have nothing to lose by waiting a year to see if things get better.
I really hope you change your mind and you find the strength to pull through this.
me too Kevin. Please reconsider. Could there be someone you haven’t thought of that could help? I’m not religious but a pastor? They don’t care if you are a member or believer or anything and sometimes they are easier to talk to then others. I’m sorry things got so bad Kevin. I’m thinking similar things a lot but am holding on and sometimes I feel happier, even for a few hours, and it’s like a cloud lifts. I know it’s really hard- I mean I REALLY know. If you can call the Samaritans in the uk they will talk to you about anything and they won’t tell anyone. If you are in the us you can get google phone free and pay a very little for overseas calls.
Please write more on here -please Kevin. You can talk to us. I wish you would stay. Wish I could put my arms around you and tell you it’s going to be alright. It can be alright. It’s all so hard and sad. I know it. Please don’t let go.
