Love is not a state, it’s a transitory feeling. Besides, the meaning of what is called love or even true love can be very different. For example, psychologist J.A. Lee distinguishes 6 basic types of love: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_styles
Anyway, I don’t know much about love neither. But what I know is that if at least you can show and experience something, then it exists.
Love is a gift you can give to others or keep for yourself, you can even hide it away from the world. Love isn’t expecting love in return. Love is taking a moment to know that love turns on and off like a light switch, and still wanting to turn it on when others need it. Love is whats wrong with the world…there’s not enough to go around. But every man woman and child can create love. Thinking that love just “happens” out of thin air, like it’s “meant to be”..that’s the real illusion. Time is an illusion, space is an illusion, pride is an illusion. It’s how you create you world, that’s all that matters. Create it with love, or create it without. Goes both ways.
love exists somewhere. its floating around. gotta catch it when the time is right.
