I had planned for over a month. I did all the research. I got two tanks of helium. Created an exit bag. Sealed everything well. Then when I turned on the taps for the helium I realized I wasn’t prepared for how terrifying it would be. The bag filled up so fast and the next thing I knew I was tearing everything off. This is horrible. I wanted a painless, peaceful exit. Looks like I may have to find a cliff. Now I’m more depressed than ever. I’m not asking for help. I just wanted to vent.

i don’t think it’s the bag that’s terrifying so much as what it represents.
The end of you.
All you know, all you have done, could still do, will be gone. Game over. No restart.
Or maybe this terror is your restart. It’s how you choose to see it I guess.
But, isn’t everything?

Can relate to your post.
Tried a bag with sleeping pills.
Ended up with waking with a huge headache,
and the bag torn off my head.
Now have everything ready for the helium
method.
The unconscious doesn’t want you to go.
If I were an american I’d buy a shotgun
around the corner.
Not easily availsble in Europe.
Yeah the moment itself seems scary ,
but what i hear it takes only 20 seconds
Or 3 gulps to leave this life .
In switserland there’s a clinic where you
can do euthanasia
