So there’s this girl that I really like and who is really pretty, but I’ve never actually talked to her before.. She seems like perfect and I see her around my school but I’m scared to talk to her… The only time i could is in between classes.. But what am i suppose to say without making things weird and awkward? :/ I was thinking about asking her to do a survey for my physiology class or something.. But I honestly don’t know. Any help?

I wouldn’t advise drawing attention to yourself and what you want. Instead, learn what interests her. Start there. Approach her with something that relates to what she is doing or something she knows well. If you approach her with whats on your mind it will make it very awkward for you and her. If you don’t know anything or much about her I wouldn’t bother trying to talk to her at all. Learn about her first, and avoid making your approach all about you and your intensions. Girls can pick up on that.
Good luck!
Being young was rough. I don’t miss it. Maybe perspective is in order?
Realtalk’s principle of knowing the other party’s interests is sound.
Re: perspective: today you have 0% of her attention. Outcome of speaking to her: she responds OR — worst case scenario — you have 0% of her interest. Getting this math? Except…you will learn … and that’s to your advantage no matter the vehicle.
Good luck!
And then the problem becomes finding someone who is interested in things you think are actually interesting, so that you don’t have to feign interest to trick someone into being interested in who you are pretending to be, in order to gain their attention… just because they’re “pretty.”
And this is the part where i realized: there are zero women in this world, with whom i would be personally compatible, and only very few with similar interests.
