1)hang out with my sister(my older sister is awesome and fun to be around)
2)drawing/painting (painting distracts me from my problems)
3)watch movies/tv shows  (very entertaining)
4)listen to music  (makes me feel like I’m miles away)
5)Eat (especially cupcakes and brownies) 😉
6)and play video games. (I LOVE video games, especially super smash bros 🙂
Even though I like to do these things , I feel depressed everyday.The things I love to do only distracts me from my problems.I’ll always have problems no matter what I do. 🙁

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS!!!! Love it!!!
Yeah I just got Super Smash Bros today and it was AWESOME 🙂
1) that’s cool you have an older sibling to hang with. I’ve always tried to get along with my brother in the past but I was really too much of a younger brother to tag along. He never wanted me around anyways.
2) although I’ve had a talent for drawing and painting, I never found much joy in it, not sure why other than the fact that I’m more of a spiritual kind of person who doesn’t see much value in material things (even paper)…it’s weird, hard to explain. But I like to see different kinds of art by others.
3) in recent years I’ve found a lot of distraction in movies and TV shows I find on the Internet. Letting myself get sucked into the story lines and imagineering of films helps to relieve stress and calm my mind. I don’t watch cable tv, gave it up a few years ago. It’s the commercials, can’t stand them. I won’t even listen to radio commercials.
4) I could never get into just listening to music by itself. For me, music has to accompany whatever I’m doing. I can’t just sit and listen to music and “lose myself” that way. I’ve been a musician for most of my life and I find that creating my own music is far more rewarding than taking interest in what kind of music I’m listening to.
5) I love cupcakes!! but I’ve only recently discovered how yummy they can be. I like to cook and create my own dishes. I love food, it’s just too bad that every day can’t be a culinary adventure.
6) video games….. lol I hate video games! hehe well hate is a stronger word than I’d like to use but I lack the extensive vocabulary to express my feelings for video games. I’m not too happy that it shapes our children’s future and defines many people these days. I understand the value of playing video games so I’m not saying that it’s bad you play them. But even as a kid I had a hard time keeping interest in games. They aren’t hard, in fact I’ve whooped the shit out of real gamers like I’ve been playing my whole life. But games are very alien to me. I’ve never played any of the games in circulation today. Some years ago I tried to get into games, even spent over $300 just to get myself started. That didn’t even last a month. I got so bored and saw it as pointless, so I sold the set up to some kid. My lack of interest in video games has always raised the question of why the rest of the world loves them so much.
Having distractions is a good thing I feel. We all need to keep distracted when we don’t have some kind of task or chore to do…. Cuz life is long and boring!
What are some of your real problems?
@realtalk30
Some of my “real problems” are I have depression and I have a negative outlook of life , I always feel alone even when I hang out with my sister, my sister isn’t depressed like me so I feel misunderstood. None of the people at my school think like me and I can’t relate to the people at my school. I don’t have any realistic goals in life and I don’t know what I want to do after I finish high school. I feel like I have no future. When I get older no one would want to hire me for a job. I’ll probably spend my whole life working hard and still end up being poor. Everyday I feel like killing myself and I feel so alone and misunderstood. I really want to kill myself but I always lie to myself and say it’ll get better.
@RT30
If you’re that good you should have tried out for the Dota2 gamign championship first place was a prize 1.6 million dollars. The Halo 4 championship had a 1st place prize of about $250,000.
@ahannah123
How’s the math kiddo?
I prefer Soul Caliber over Smash Bro’s even though i grew up playing that on the Nintendo 64 with my cousin.
@ AtTheEnd
today I learned how to solve linear equations and compound inequalities
@ahannah123
Oh did you practice and get a hang of it? Or still kinda iffy on it?
I know how to solve them but I still need more practice
then practice :c
@AtTheEnd
I’ll practice some more tomorrow
@ahanahh123
Okay okay i won’t nag you lol
Hey ahannah123,
Just wanted to say that even if you feel different and worry about the future, there will always be people whose lives you can brighten up.
When you’re feeling bad, there’s bound to be someone who feels even worse whose day you can improve.
And if you feel bad at some things, there will always be people who are complete novices that you can teach.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re good at some things. And you sound like a nice person too.
So don’t worry. Remember to not only compare yourself to those seem to be doing better than you, but also to look the other way.
Hugs
@Muspelhem
thanks 🙂
No problem 🙂 Hope stuff works out all right for you.
