why did my mom keep me. Cant she see she isn’t cut out for having  a 13 year old? She has all these mental problems. She drinks almost every night and threatens me. I have done nothing to her and she said she wants to hurt me or give me to my dad. whats the point of being here if my mom doesn’t want me.

Do you wish to be put into the foster system? Perhaps you should seek out a social worker, and they might be able to help you.
That must be awful. You should seek for help in your school. Are there any teachers/adults who you can trust (at least a little)? What is about your father? Can’t he raise you?
My dad doesn’t pay child support and he lives in the Bahamas. He hit me when I was very little. I haven’t seen him since I was 6. It would just be completely weird if I went and lived with him out of the blue. We barley even talk.
She couldn’t abandon you. It’s called a maternal bond or something which prevents that from happening. When we take people in our lives for granted it doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t care about them or love them any less.
Drinking helps people forget the weight of the world constantly on their shoulders. It also makes them more forgetful of the things they take for granted. They say horrible things to the people they care about even when they don’t really mean it.
She’d probably give her life for you but life is not that kind of a fight or battle. You never see the sacrifices people make because they too are taken for granted.
We want more than life can ever give and in the process stop living, which is why you feel powerless and so does your mother. When you begin to understand why and how this has come to pass, you won’t feel as powerless anymore.
just because your mother is no good doesnt mean your not. your still young, but growing up really fast. i dont know what the best thing for you to do is, but stay strong and know there are people out there who care. i dont always love myself, but ive found that there are people out there who will love me anyway. you will find these same people. you cant choose your family, but life is full of so many other choices and theyre all hard. you will see that even when you make the wrong ones its ok because you made them and no one else
