I thought this was common knowledge, the brain produces endorphins in response to any type of pain whether it be emotional or physical, you can get hooked on these natural painkillers, which is why sadness can become “addicting”

You guys should have seen the people i played AoC with. It was a somehow favorable combination of foul and functional, vile and virtuous. Some of the best pvp’ers i’ve ever had the chance to play with, some of whom also happened to be some of the most hilarious and disgusting trolls i’ve ever encountered.
It was good times.
If i never hear the word “baddie” spoken in a stereotypical nerd-lisp ever again… actually, i might get nostalgic.
