I’m sure people here can relate, so here it goes.
Who are you going to be today? Or, if that doesn’t fit you..try.. Who did you wake up as today?
I believe it’s natural to take a different approach every day to how we go about thinking, doing, talking, etc. Its even more useful when trying to improve situations from previous days (or the previous day)
Sometimes we have to be the more sensitive listener, when maybe the day before we might not have been so.
Or maybe it would be valuable to have a stern approach with people, knowing that some people like to walk all over us. Perhaps being the one with a more solid integrity would serve a better purpose.
Sometimes we need to be the one who takes a step back, the one that doesn’t struggle against ones own beliefs. Sometimes we need to show tolerance and understanding. Compassion.
Sometimes we wake up and ask the question.. “Who am I?” But is it possible to wake up tomorrow and ask instead..
“Who do I need to be today?”
I don’t think it’s 100% possible to know who you are going to be from one day to the next, atleast that’s me. I’m sure some people can rely on the fact that they will be the same person from one day to the next.
So are you going to be the “one” today? The one that turns around and apologizes for yesterday, or will you be the one who holds a grudge for tomorrow?
Will you be the one who forgets about whats important, what counts and matters most? Or will you be the one to take matters into your own hands, and be a stronger you for the future?
Will you be the one that is aware of where you are going, or will you wind up lost like the rest of the world sees itself?
We all see the person we want to be. We dream of days we want to live. And we must be the one that we need to be to make a difference.

Hey RealTalk! π
I may not know who I am this morning, but I know that I was awoken by morons who won’t get off my case and as a result I’m not in the best mood. (Didn’t sleep enough either.) I need to reign it in before I go jump off a bridge. Not sure how I can tolerate this for much longer.
Sorry. Don’t mind me. Anyway, how are you?
Hey persephone!! Γ°ΕΈβΕ‘ It’s ok, you can always vent on my posts. It’s not all about me you know!? lol
I’m sorry things haven’t smoothed over yet. That sucks. Just try to maintain a sense of… Grace? I guess? lol
For me.. I’ve been trying to stay afloat myself. It’s hard.
And I miss you all, my friends.
Things won’t smooth over until I can move, and it’s going to be a tough road until then. But thanks.
π I hope you can catch a break somehow.
We miss you too!
This place hasn’t been the same since everyone disappeared last month. There’s been some newcomers, but you never know if they’re just passing through or not. Time will tell.
But yeah, it’s always good to see you drop by. π
I like your post, by the way. Thoughtful. I’ve missed seeing your posts.
The truth is that coming on SP as often as I use to was costing me over $60 a month extra in data service. But you guys are worth checking in on.
And thanks!!
Hey RT30! nice to see you man…glad you are okay… π
I agree with Percy…nice post….
oh and Persephone check your spam folder for your ****** information it may be there…
@RealTalk Ha, yeah, it costs me extra, too. I have a ‘superphone,’ the minimum bill for this was $60 per month, which is already high, but I always pay $20 extra. If I go over that it’s another $10. Phones are so costly, it’s ridiculous to pay this much just for Internet usage, considering nobody ever calls or texts me (besides the people I live with, and those aren’t friendly texts). But whatever. I can download shows and films onto my phone if I use WiFi, plus I read books on this and sometimes listen to music. (Mainly when I’m on WiFi, then I listen to stuff like the personal playlist service 8Tracks.) So, I do enjoy my phone either way. The battery has been giving me trouble, it drains too quickly now. Perhaps I need to delete some of my apps.
Hey Pain! π I’d been checking that, nothing. If the admin herself has to personally send out the info, then… I dunno, maybe I’ll never get it because she doesn’t know me. =|
Are you sure your email service doesn’t automatically trash spam? I just tried another email address with Gmail and it came in the spam folder again….perhaps you should try another email address to be sure…****** automatically sends out the email the admin of the room has no control over that
Hey Pain!! Good to see you are still around (ie. alive). I’m glad you’ve decided to stick around a bit longer! Perhaps you’ve realized how much this site needs you still.
Thanks for the comments guys..it’s important to be cognitive of what your intentions are with who you want to be from day to day, how you want people to perceive as well as remember you. And it’s important to try and gain control over how we react when things don’t go the way we want to. …like every day!
Well, I’m not sure about the “sticking around” part just doing something to pass the time…. Although I have given much of what you and others have said thought…I also just want to say thanks for all your input… I hope things improve for you man….
“The truth is that coming on SP as often as I use to was costing me over $60 a month extra in data service. But you guys are worth checking in on. And thanks!!”
I was Just thinking about this minutes ago.amazing!!
Good to hear from you.i don’t wish you to be around on “suicide” site but you know, nice to see you anyway.
I just opened a fortune cookie. It said: “Never give up until you reach the finish line.” You really can’t simply disregard these things. It read my mind, man. I now have renewed optimism and hope. If I put in enough effort I WILL reach my goals, yes?
@Pain Hmm, I’ll try that.
Where is the finish line? Pretty subjective. Some of us feel like we’ve crossed it, others haven’t reached it. Glad your cookie made you feel better.
Hehe. I know that. But if you think of it as when you have specific goals in mind, then the finish line is when those goals have been accomplished. Right now my main goal is to make enough money and then move far away from my current area of residence.
Never forget that we are HUMAN.
We are rude, forcefully intrusive, compulsive and relentlessly creative! Optimism is a must if you want to continue to be human and live amongst humans in their “human” form.
We have the ability to cross finish lines and move on to the next race, the next length of our journey. We have the ability to create our own finish lines, and cross them as we see fit!
You are only done when you decide that you have had enough!
goodmorning guys!! hope ur all having a good day (:
AP McCoy is approaching 4,000 winners and the RP have done a poll on his best rides. Witchita Linemans victory in the 2009 William Hill Trophy is leading with 52% and rightly so. If it’s on YouTube it’s worth watching because he literally beat the shit out of the horse to get it over the line. I’ve never had a bad word to say about him, by far the strongest at the finish. I think he must have got a similar message in a fortune cookie.
