The title says it all. I fell for a guy… We had sex 3 times… And he just dumped me. He used me like a toy. That’s all I was to him… A toy. Do I have “USE ME” written on my face?
Not defending him, but some chick probably did the same to him. Lots of people think it’s “normal,” and the way things should be. Careful who you trust.
As i have experience being a man, listen, we can be bastards. Even worse in the younger years. most of us have this issue with our EGOs where we are trying to prove to the world how many girls we can get. This can continue throughout our life. Remember, making love and having consensual sex can be miles apart or can be the same act. Learn from this and if you want to make love in the future you better make sure the guy wants the same and is willing to prove it to you.
I understand completely what that feels like.
For the people saying “You should have learned more about him”, or making up excuses for him, none of that matters.
It hurts, nonetheless.
Thinking that somebody genuinely cares about you; Thinking that the way somebody looks at you with such admiration means something.
When it turns out you were wrong, it hurts.
I’m empathetic, and I hope that you find somebody worth your time, somebody who will make you feel as special as you deserve to feel <3
I agree with sunnygirl1 i have been there too. People lie and it sucks but u can only learn from experiences like this, its painful though, so painful. Everyones views on Love are just so different. You can learn all you can about someone but they can always change, one day you’re so in love and have been together for 2 years, stuck by each other through thick and thin, then bam… he starts to ignore you, he hangs out with younger women, he’s a complete stranger, he breaks all his promises and disappears. Then, u just find someone better? I’m not there yet but from what i have heard theres always someone better.
The people who think it’s no big deal, usually have the option of quickly and easily finding someone better. The people who stay hurt, are usually those who lack that option. Meanwhile, we are told things like “you just need to move on,” or “you just need to find someone else/better.” Except we can’t, because it’s a paradox: finding someone better requires moving on; moving on requires finding someone better. Without finding someone else, you can’t really move on. Without moving on, it’s nearly impossible to find someone else (although this side of things seems far more reasonable).
So, try to find someone else, even if you haven’t been able to “get over it.” Your chances of finding someone else to help you get over it, are much better than your chances of just getting over it without finding someone else.

“Making Love”. What does that even mean? It’s something a chick does when a man is busy f*%cking her.
Your ignorance is astounding.
Dear hooded-girl,

Sorry to hear that. That’s why I don’t trust people in general. They use you, until you’re of no use to them, then dump you.
Evidently you should have learned more about him first.
Sometimes things are hidden, no matter how much you ask.

I’m sorry 🙁
