The more I think of it, the more I realise I just find 00134 and 222244 such soothing colours (the main blue purples of the website). they give me a feeling of being at home more than being in my home , is that just me being weird? I am loosing connection with the physyical world so it might be that, what do you guys think?

You can change the color scheme on your eBook reader too. If it is still too bright, download “night mode” app to darken it further. Saves battery too. Just a tip. Lol my reader looks just like this site, dark background and light letters. 🙂
I think it’s just bright enough 🙂 it doesn’t hurt my eyes like most white shit on a screen xd very comforting when you’re having an insomnia episode and can’t stand light..

Well, I’m not much of a reader anyhow, so I tend to find ways to make it easier on me ^^
Those colors are normally subconciously associarted with peace and quiet, relaxation, as opposed to a red or bright yellow, which often bring about feelings of being tense, on edge.

I like this colour scheme very much as well 🙂 I think it’s because blue is my favourite colour. no other aesthetic reasoning behind it
there’s just no other site I feel at home at as much as this one, purple’s my favorite colour 🙂
Two of my favorite colors are cobalt blue and royal purple. They really pop against a black background too.
The sites is black with red text. It’s the most depressing decor on the Internet. I can’t see any purple.
You could try Betdaq. Thats known as ‘the purple site’ because of it’s colour.
yeah this… isn’t really purple.
It’s mostly blues, one purple-leaning shade of desaturated blue, gray, white text, and a few red lines.
Although i suppose viewing this in a much lower resolution might chop off the giant blue wings visible from my end. The main background is very blue, and there’s a lot of it; unless you’re on a lower-res display, in which case you’d mostly see the almost-purple-ish color.
sidenote: blue light is bad for your eyes.
