If she was really your best friend, she will be back; but perhaps she is not the best friend for you. I know how it hurts, but keep moving on. Life’s not over yet, just beginning.
Move past it and find new friends, the world is full of all kinds of people.
I understand you, when I was a teenager I lost some (what I thought were) extremely important friends in my life at the time. We cannot change the way people think or reverse their choices. If she doesn’t want to be your friend, let it be HER loss, not yours. You’re still so young. You have a lifetime of friends ahead of you.
My best friend at 13 moved away in the 9th grade and we grew apart. My best friend at 14 dumped me (and boy did I deserve it.) It was so awful. At 14, your best friend is everything — even more important than guys. But, if this is any consolation, I have my best friend at 17 on Facebook so we’re in touch all the time. More important, there are 3 people whom I call my best friends today and we’ve been friends for 44, 37, and 36 years, respectively. They live in different parts of the country and they were all here this past weekend at my house celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday. The worst feeling in the world is when we find someone who gets us and then we lose that person, for whatever reason. You’ll cope by coming here and telling us about her and how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking. We may not respond right away, and the pain won’t go away immediately, but most of us here totally get it. Since you are a minor, I would suggest that you not communicate in a private e-mail with anyone whom you “meet” on the internet or give any identifying information — especially since you’re in a bad way. Just come here and dump whatever you want, whenever you want. There are people here who are listening.
