Or at least “EX-Cat-Lady”.
I don’t have cats these days because I’m not able to take care of them any more, but for a few years there I did.
Here are the ones I had.
The white/calico one was Mittsi
(She had extra toes on each paw and it looked like mittens).
The orange one was Honeynut.

.
One day I left this basket on the floor for just a few minutes, and when I came back, Mittsi had squished herself into it, as if it could possibly be comfortable.
.
.
And then I had a black cat named Brynden.
(From a character named “Brynden The Blackfish” in the Game Of Thrones novels.

For bonus points, here’s the golden retriever I had when I was ten.
His name was Nugget.
Happiest. Dog. EVER.

Fantastic animals!
They were very good friends.
One of the hardest parts of pet ownership for me is that we can outlive our animals many times.
We experience the same heartbreak again and again but it never gets easier.
I know!
It’s a sad thing when a good friend dies… including a good furry friend who purrs.
They are all adorable! I would have to vote for Honeynut! They are all precious though.
I loved all of them, but Brynden was extra special because I was at the Humane Society trying to decide which one to adopt, and when I opened his cage he LEAPED OUT and landed right in my arms. He curled up and started purring as if that’s where he was always meant to be.
It was like he picked me first. 🙂
<3 I'm crying tears of joy. All of these posts are making my heart swell. (It hurts)
I… hope that’s a… GOOD thing….
😮
