I’m a lonely guy most of the time too. I have friends and family and I do go out and socialize. but even when I am with people I feel different and lonely.
Oh boy. I guess I wasn’t meant to be happy. LOL
I like being alone a lot of the time, and I don’t currently have any close friends… but I find myself seeking social interaction of some kind, even if it’s only this website, or being around random strangers IRL.
So yeah, when it comes to continuous solitude, I agree with you, Kirito. Even if I wanted to be alone 24/7, there’s some kind of biological instinct pushing me to interact on some level with other people. However, other human beings are one of my greatest causes for stress. There’s no winning. You can either put up with being annoyed, irritated, and frustrated at times by those around you, or you try to get used to that feeling of pain, loneliness and isolation if you have no close personal connections with others (and that in itself will cause more stress and health complications, and lower your quality of life).

So is this Dr. seuss?
I’m not 100% positive, but the artwork and rhyme scheme sure look/sound like it.
There are people in this world that enjoy being alone, but there isn’t a single person who can bear solitude.
Very true!
Das ist sehr wahr!
Cats may sit at the window, but an elephant will never type the story.
Parrots may fly upward, but a platypus will never go bowling.
Lizards may creep under branches, but a dolphin will never build a treehouse.
You are pretty cool, Cordless. 🙂
Really hit me in the “feels” this one. All alone weather I like it or not, all alone is my life’s lot.
Fuck this shit I need a mate 🙁
Me too!!!
ahoy! matey!!! 🙂

Oops, this comment was supposed to appear under Kirito’s…
