hmm Very interesting. I have to say that I am lucky when it comes to sleep… I have never had a problem with not being able to sleep when I need it.
I can sleep anytime I am tired and I can also sleep anywhere > even through distractions like noise or an uncomfortable sleeping area. Nothing seems to bother my sleep pattern.
Yeah I did a cross country road trip about 4 years ago… and I slept in the car just about every night for 2 months straight. Never bothered me. 1 day a week I would get a hotel room… but 6 nights out of the week I would sleep in my car sitting partially upright with a sleeping bag over me and I had no problems.
I guess I didn’t really think about it until now that I am lucky to have a normal sleeping pattern.
For me if I ever have trouble getting to sleep all I need to do is read a book for a while and then soon. I am out like a light. Reading feeds my mind and relaxes me at the same time.
Next time you have trouble sleeping try reading a good book…. and I suggest a paper book > not looking at a digital screen.
Also you might want to look into sleeping pills > or some kind of natural sleeping remedy.
I wish you the best
Same thing happens to me some nights and others where I feel like staying up all night I fall asleep in seconds which is just another aspect of life and why it can be frustrating for many.
I can relate to this. I have always had a lot of trouble falling sleep. Things became a little easier when I gave up on trying to maintain a sleep rhythm.
