I leave my parents house today due to lack of privacy and other problems. I don’t have much money and I really want to start a graduation course, but there is this financial crisis all over the country and my parents tell me that I wont make it. I’m really scared. And if I am not able to pay the rent? It will be humiliating have to admit that I can support myself.
Am I wrong? Should I to stay at my parents home?

first off… how old are you?
You have to do what’s right for you and if you can’t wait a little longer until you start your college or uni course, then go for it. If you dont already, you may have to get a part time job though or while you aren’t in education a full time job to cover rent costs. Where are you from? If you’re in the UK you can apply for a student finance loan for the year you start your course and they will give you a set amount, split over the academic year.
That’s my plan, Nosmoke34. Get a full time job this year and a part time job when I start my course. But I am really scared. And if I don’t get any job? I am in Brazil, that is no much job. I can’t fail again, being a loser forever.
You can do this, you believe you can and you will. Don’t give up and keep going no matter what. You have a plan so go with it. You won’t fail and I’m sure your family and people who care for you will be right behind you, no matter what. You’re doing amazing already! 🙂
i like this post, brings back memories, most people do not make it on there first try, and come home crying to mama , it took me one time of crying to mama and i’ve been out ever since, if you think you can then go for it, you have to get your feet wet sooner or later. sooner is better than later. it’s just a part of life, don’t leave with an attitude, you need to keep the door open, oh gee mom! i just want to try! and see what is like! i need to do this! i love you! wish me well! 🙂 that way you can get back in without to much shame! oh gee you were right! i hate it when your always right!! 🙂 WHAT’S FOR DINNER??? 🙂
Thanks man, you’re so right. Thanks

Hi
Write me:

We live in the same country (may be in the same city). And I can help you with ideas. I did the same when I was 25 and it worked!
If you know English, you already have work: English teacher. Go to English schools this week and try! Announce private lessons too.
About renting, I suggest you start with a bedroom inside a flat rented by other students. Try this site: easyquarto
Very good to find a place to live.
About a free place to stay for 2 or 3 nights try: surfcouching
(People offer their couch to people that r travelling… say u r. So what?)
And about a job…more difficult now but not impossible.
Write me. I wanna help. 🙂
I’m from Bolivia! And I tell you, it will work!
Try to save a month worth of rent, trust me it always helps! Rent a little room, look for jobs that use English, they pay better
If my parents weren’t so sadist I would have made it, anyway I wish you best of luck.
And if you’re brave enough, come here! The financial situation is kinda stable, and I would be more than happy to help you. You can do it!
Thanks. Unfortunately I dont have money to go to Bolivia, also I want to start college next year. But thanks anyway. What about your parents? Why you didnt made what you want to?
