I have to go outside today as much as I don’t want to. The rain is the only thing that welcomes me; my shield, my comfort. Hopefully there will be less people.. Rain please don’t stop; guide me through, follow me, dance around me, soothe my face, genteel and quieten my soul just for a little while and keep the others at bay. Cry on for me, I shall stomp on through, together we shall be okay.

it’s funny how some people detest the rain
perhaps they don’t notice the quiet, like the rain drapes a blanket over the world, and suddenly the busy and noisy place is a little bit more comfy, for some…
and the wet water, even cold drops, can be such sweet caress and embrace, when otherwise there is none….
I guess they are the ‘regular functioning’ type people who dont take notice, busying around etc as much as I hate the world that people have created I still see the beauty that remains. I take comfort in nature. It was nice to be greeted by the sound of a chaffinch- quite rare for this bustling City. Some people say that the sound of heavy rain keeps them awake- I actually sleep better as if its nature’s lullaby lulling me to sleep..
I keep hearing them say “its horrible out there isn’t it” to me its fucking beautiful, makes me chuckle in is here waiting room..

I too, enjoy the rain. I want to move to London. I hear it rains there rather often. I currently live in Wisconsin. I don’t like it here; it only snows a lot and then it gets too cold to go outside.
London is over priced and over rated, I used to live there as a kid and lived in different parts of it. I still go there from time to time but it’s more of a tourist cess pool than it ever has been. I love snow wish it would snow more here..
