So I came home for lunch and an official from the county was there. All I could think was “Here we go again”. I asked him “what has my neighbor with the untreated mental illness called in about this time?”. He laughed and said that she’s well known at the county for being a bat shit crazy pain in the ass. He asked me about a sign in my yard. For privacy sake, I won’t go into detail, but it’s for a business that I use. I get a discount for having the sign in my yard since it’s good, free advertising for them.
My jackhole neighbor claimed I was running the business out of my house. The official knew right away the report was BS. All my other neighbors hate this woman. She calls 911 or the county on a monthly sometimes weekly basis. She’s just awful. She has tons of money and could get treatment, but she won’t. There will always be a part of me that feels bad for her. She must be miserable. But she’s just so mean. No one here strikes me as mean like thst, just very sad and hopeless like me. Why does she have to be so awful? Maybe, even at her old age, she will eventually get help and have a few years of peace and happiness.

Probably not. She probably has a collection of the neighborhood kids soccer balls that would fill a warehouse, after they accidentally kicked them into her yard. What can you do?!
LOL. I’ve literally had THREE lawn mowing services quit on me because she is always screaming at them. She called 911 on the last one because he got grass clippings in her yard. I am not exaggerating. That literally happened.
God. Well, C’mon now, everyone understands the hazards grass clippings pose! They’re lethal! She has a right to defend herself. 😉 Being sarcastic, but you get that. What a nightmare neighbor. I’d like to have seen the 911 dispatchers face when she called in.
She calls all the time. The cop was a dick. He told me to get “My non-English speaking Mexican” to stop getting grass clippings in her yard.
“My Mexican” is a bi-lingual business owner with several crews who pretended not to speak English because he was so aggravated with the little punk cop.
She gets away with it everytine. They never press charges even though misuse of the 911 system is a misdemeanor.
I doubt she will ever seek treatment because at this stage her actions are perceived as fully rational to her. she’s likely not even aware she is abnormal. Turn the tables and call 911 on her, her sense of what is appropriate and what’s not is so askew maybe she’ll go off the rails at having a taste of her own medicine and threaten the cop and you won’t see her again LOL
