Yesterday I saw a movie with some friends, and then later on we decided to go to a park, because some of our friends was gonna go there and hang out. On our way, we met two guys. I recognized one of them from a party that was back in June. We started talking to them and this one guy I recognized, started talking about parties, and specifically about this ”sick” one where a girl tried to stab herself. Lmao, you see where this is turning right? This girl was me. So anyway, this guy recognized me, and afterwards, I tried to drag him aside and told him, begged him to not talk about this with his friends. I mean, how sick isn’t that? And wait, the best part was when he told this infront of my friends, they started laughing. How fun? 😀 People are sick, so sick

Two things…
The first is not to expect much from anyone, especially close friends or family. That’s not saying be nihilistic and don’t care. Just don’t get your hopes up or project some kind of persona on them that skews your perspective and allows you to be disappointed by them.
The second is that if you do something, don’t be irritated when it comes back to you. Try to own it. If you don’t like it or don’t want to be associated with it then just admit it to whoever brought it up and move on. No one is going to care as time moves on and everyone drifts away.
Also parties are dumb.
Peace.
