I knew a guy who sufferrd from depression and narcissism; he did shock therapy, then he later tdcs and took medications; and he seems completely healed after a couple of weeks. He still takes medications to make sure his illness does not back.
He’s doing fine up till this day. He got married and has a stable job.
He just told his psychiatrist his problems and the doctor was willing to help him. You need a psychiatrist to help you
Taking one course and declaring it ineffective is like taking one prozac and saying it didn’t make you happy. Well, even twenty prozac doses over 20 days wouldn’t make you happy, but it might improve things. It’s hard to say how your neurochemistry will respond to it. TDCS is the same way. Your brain is constantly changing, and treatments like TDCS modify the pathways by giving them a gentle nudge. It’s not instantaneous, but nothing really is.
I believe the only way to find out what it can do for you is to give it time and see what happens. Things like TDCS can do a lot of different things. Neurologists aren’t even sure what it does, aside from changing electrical patterns in the brain. It’s not targeted at all, so it’s probably different for every patient. But something like narcissism is also not a very precise target for a cure. It’s like asking if you can cure trichotillomania. You can treat hair loss, but that won’t stop you from pulling it right back out once it regrows. TDCS can probably only go so far from the outside, you have to work towards your goal from the inside and meet it somewhere in the middle.

Maybe you should give it time. It takes a couple of weeks for it to work. Be patient
Do you know anyone who has healed?

So the tdcs healed his narcissism? I need to talk to this guy. Do you still have contact with him?
