So… Music is a great way to escape and I thought we could all share the type of music you like and then name a few artists and songs.
Who wants to go first?…….Anyone?…..
Okay. I’ll start it then.
I usually listen to a myriad of types but here lately I have been listening a lot to rap.
Techn9ne: Einstein is my favorite.
Kevin Gates: I don’t get tired is definitely my favorite.
Future: Fuck up some commas.
And recently I have been listening almost exclusively to…
Die Antwoord: Ugly boy, Cookie thumper, I’m a ninja and Baby’s on fire.
That’s just a few. So who would like to go next?…

I want to say i listen to a variety of music, but i really don’t. I basically listen to Queens of the Stone Age religiously along with a bunch of other stoner rock music.
Nickelback – Hero, Maria McKee – Show me heaven, The Weeknd – Earned it
I listen to a variety of stuff but mostly classic metal.
Dio – Rainbow In The Dark
Judas Priest – Reckless
The Ramones – Poison Heart
RadioHead – How To disappear completely
to name a few
@Porphyry_Snails Queens of the stone age is an awesome band!
Unfortunately I don’t have anything of interest for you guys. For the most part I only care to listen to instrumental music. I have a playlist of 40 great piano pieces I always listen to. I barely even recognize the bands you’ve posted xc
Oh darkwillow please share! I played the piano for 8 years and still love classical piano music. Although I am not familiar with names (I had to look up the names of songs and artists I listen too) I listen to a lot. Even some older country songs but not many.
Thank you all for sharing with me too. I also find music is a great way to bond with each other.
I also like…
Highly suspect: my name is human
System of a down: A lot of their music!
Beethoven: 5th symphony of course. I used to play this on the piano so very well but you lose it when you don’t practice.
Queen: We are the champions, Bohemian rhapsody
Kansas: Dust in the wind
Kenny Rogers: The gambler
Alexi Murdoch: All my days
Feel free to keep listing music as I will be looking.
I’ve been playing music for a few years. I mostly play modern piano music. My favorite artist is Giovanni allevi. Downtown, ciprea, oxygen, very many more pieces by him. He makes up more than half my playlist.
Ludovico einaudi is a bit slower than Giovanni, but his music is more relaxing and meditative. Also a lot easier to learn and play. I like I giorni, nefeli, le onde, ect.
I have never been too interested in beethoven. I play a bit of Bach on guitar, I think he’s my favorite. But Mozart has some good pieces I’ve been looking at as well.
Haven’t been listening to music that much recently, but usually love it and listen to lots of different stuff. Like this producer called Mehmet Aslan at the moment though. I had a huge ‘c86’ indie phase a couple of years ago where I was really into The Wolfhounds, The Nightingales, The Smiths, The Wedding Present and things like that.
