Imagine being treated as a fully grown adult by everyone as an autistic who was never even taught shit about fuck by my useless narcissistic mother. I don’t even know how to cook. I don’t think people take developmental disabilities seriously. I read that well over 90% of autistic people living on their own don’t have jobs. Not to mention I have ADHD on top of that. Yessir, I’m alive and thriving! No really, I’m doing just as shitty as the last time you asked me, retard. I just wanna live with my mom. But then she gives me the tough shit act, being the cruel narcissist she is. “I already raised you, this is my reward” Uhhh… no you didn’t. People don’t understand developmental disabilities. And probably don’t care, because it disrupts their little routines. Boo hoo. Sorry I exist.

What would you do if your mom wasn’t around?
Also is there any gov’t support for people with disabilities where you live? Perhaps there’s some form of permanent disability program you can get.
I totally understand mental limitations…I don’t have autism but I’ve gone through depression and other issues and I know how it can mess up one’s life.
Where I live, for over a year, I’ve been dealing with sleep issues due to noise…lately the noise has improved a lot (it’s much quieter now) and I’ve been sleeping better.
But I feel the difference in my ability to remember things, my sharpness has gone down somewhat. Though I find if I take a nap, my energy and brain does improve.
Anyways, I hate being in the situation I’m in, but it’s also hard to change because rents are very high here and it’s competitive to find a place…so that’s another challenge on its own.
My mom is elderly, we live together, she means a lot to me but I don’t think she’s going to last too long and I’m trying to get myself into a better financial situation.
I can move in with my dad if I have to, but neither he nor I really want that-we don’t like each other, and I’ve considered applying for Maid where I am.
Perhaps you can look into jobs that aren’t too mentally taxing on you…like in the construction field, it pays really well too….and you don’t have to be a genius.
Also you could help your mom by bringing an extra income, she’d appreciate that, or you could just live on your own if that’s what she wants.
