So my parents aredivorced and for the past 6-8+ months my dad hasn’t been oaying child support. So this past week my mom filed for a contemptive court order which means in 60 days they will go to a court hearing and either my dad starts paying child support or he will go to jail. I don’t want to see my dad anymore but I also don’t want my dad to be in jail. I’m not sure whether I’m hurt or what. I’m so confused and just numb to it

This is a difficult situation. Know that you are not alone, and that there are literally thousands of people going through the same or a similar situation right now.
Try talking to a therapist, councilor, or trusted friend. This seems cliche, but can really really help. You should never try to go through life alone.
Let someone know how you are feeling. Also know that even while this situation seems hopeless at some times, everything will be okay. It always turns out alright in the end. And whatever you do, don’t blame yourself: this is in no way your fault, it’s just one of those life situations that happens.
To possibly feel better, try doing one or a few of these simple things. They may give you a little emotion boost:
-Talk to a trusted person (as mentioned before)
-Go out in nature and get some sunshine. Fresh air and exercise can help clear the mind and help you to feel a bit calmer, more collected.
-Do something fun! Watch a movie, bake cookies, play a game, or something you find interesting. This will get your mind off other things and help you to get a smile on your face.
-Get into a routine, this will bring some regularity into your life and will hopefully make you feel less confused.
Good luck, and know that there are so many people out there willing to help you.
