can anyone help me tell my parents that i think i have recurring deprresion and sucidial thoughts i feel like if i do that they will think im crazy or screwed up. please help
I gues you can start off small tell them that your Not feeling well and that you haven’t been feeling like your normal self for quite a while, then slowly escalate to depression and after a bit more time tell them about your suicidal thoughts
Your very brave for doing this I would never attempt to do what your doing but it’s probably because I like being discreet about who I really am
is there a trusted friend or counselor you have already confided in? If so, let them in on your intention. If not, maybe that would also be a good thing. I don’t know your parents so I can’t say how they’ll react. But I know that sometimes parents can overreact…even when they don’t want to. Starting off small sounds like a good plan. Maybe it can lead to getting some other outside help. Having a counselor on your side can help you work out how to include your parents.
And you are very very brave for giving this consideration.

Pour your emotions out to them please they’ll help don’t think just express what you’ve been holding in
You could write them a letter, or you could start therapy and ask the therapist to talk to them ?
