my grandma died 2 minutes after I left the room. If only I stayed those couple of minutes, then maybe she would still be here a little longer. Her birthday is in 4 days. we were hoping she was going to stay until then. I even had her birthday present. But now I can’t wish on 11:11 anymore because my wish didn’t come true.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSE. I LOST MY GRANDMOTHER AT 13 AND UNTILL THEN I HAD BEEN THERE ALMOST EVERY DAY WITH MY BROTHER AS SHE BABYSAT US. THE ONLY MEMORIE I STILL CANT FORGET IS HOW I REACTED TO SEEING HER BODY IN HER LIVINGROOM… I LAUGHED. I DONT KNOW WHY AND DIDNT EXPECT IT AT THE TIME I WAS ALITTLE EMBARESED BUT I GUESS IT WAS THAT I LOVED HER AND IT WAS LIKE SHE WAS GONE AND HAD HER WHOLE LIFE WITH HER TO THOSE WE HAD FROM THE BEGINING. MINE USE TO CALL ME HER JUNE BUG.
One less, You will get past this pain of losing your grandma. It takes time but it does get lighter. Just keep in mind that as long as you hold on to the memories they are still with us. They live on within our hearts.
I was 16 when I lost my grandma to cancer on 12/23/92 yep it was two days before Christmas. I too had just stepped out of the house.
I am 34, I still miss her. But the pain of losing her is no longer present.
