why is it that when i accidently cut myself shaving, it hurts 10 times as bad as when i cut myself on purpose?

hmm interesting
because you’re not mentally prepared. perhaps that state of mind you get into at the time of purposeful cutting is one of the reasons why you do it in the first place. It’s a mind over matter or control thing partly.
