Over thinking it will only make your situation worst.
I don’t know your story, it’s impossible for me to tell you what to think or do.
But I will say this. Currently, you are alive. You are breathing. You are thinking. That, in itself, is a miracle. Obviously you are depressed, otherwise you would not be on there. But the fact that you are dealing with depression, and you have the ability to write to us about it, is an achievement. Because your depression has not won.
Whenever you feel like you’re about to give up, remember that you are alive. You are strong. You’ve gotten through this before, and you will again.
And above all, remember there are people who care. We may be strangers, but everyone on this website cares for your safety. We band together, because we know what it’s like to feel hopeless and alone.
It’s hard though, because when you have that blade in your hand…or when you are seriously considering suicide…the only one there to stop you….is you.
You don’t always have the computer in front of you when you’re tying that noose.
You may not have a friend there to stop you from pulling the trigger.
You can’t always stop yourself from stabbing your wrists.
Sometimes your alone. And that’s why I use this site to help myself.
I try to memorize things that may help me later on…so I can repeat them to myself when I have the blade to my wrist…so I can say “Not right now. One more day”

You aren’t alone.
There is always hope.
Gotta keep moving.
One more day at a time.
