please someone come and hug me
please hug me tight and make me believe this pain will end
and please hug me and let me get out of this depth of my fears
please hug me tight and make me believe me im strong
Breathe. Take a deep breath. You need to calm yourself, iamstrange.
I’m not going to lie to you and say things will get better, because we don’t need any lies. I will say that your pain is shared by me at this very moment and countless others. Your deep pain is a gift. You feel more when you cry, you love deeper, you think deeper; the greatest artists all share bleeding hearts. Do you think Van Gogh could have captured such solitude and despair in his paintings without deep pain as his inspiration? How about Beethoven, despite being deaf, and equipped with a short temper, creating more powerful symphonies than any hearing person? And finally, if you are familiar with English Literature, the Romantic writers being criticized for their dreamy, sorrowful, an existential poetry during a time of rational, scientific thinking. All of the genius artists, if you do your homework, share deep unfathomable pain and that is what made them acclaimed yet ostracized and full of despair.
You and I have a well of feeling that can be shared. Be creative, express it artistically and find your voice.
