I think that you would have to be really smart, empathetic, compassionate, to help people solve their problems, particularly when you have stuff you’re also struggling with.
Whatever we face internally (/our own problems), we have be very careful, well just kind to ourselves and not judgemental/fearing of the feelings that arise as we approach them, thus allowing us to resolve our problems from a better state of mind and with a little less pain. It’s good that you are compassionate enough to assist others; a lot of people who help others sometimes find it difficult to discuss their own problems, but, yeah, you should perhaps open up and even seek help to resolve the problems you’re struggling with.
