It’s sad I never heard of this man up until recently while on a random YouTube video spree. He is a great philosopher and comedy just happens to be the way he conveys his message. If you’ve never heard of him you should watch a few YT videos of him……The man is absolutely brilliant.

I agree!
Most people are afraid to discuss or even acknowledge his realm of topics.
I watched one of his videos of him doing stand up and I was hooked. He had me intrigued and while telling the truth he actually made me laugh a bit….I was googling the circumstances of his death and some people believe he was assassinated…..Based on the topics he spoke about so boldly I wouldn’t rule out the possibility
I first saw Carlin in the 80’s. He is the best comedian ever because he made you think and laugh. I never heard any assassination rumors though his death did surprise me as I didnt know he was sick. I doubt the power elite would bother though because now a days the secrets out. Unfortunately there are so many sheep that just follow the mindless, materialistic masses and ancient superstitions.
Yeah I don’t know if they would but hey you never know. Sometimes you got to make an example out of people. What made me like him is that he actually spoke about unpopular things….shit that comedians nowadays wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole….I watched a segment on YT where he actually predicted the financial crisis of 08 in 2002. I was astonished …I mean you would expect a financial expert to predict it but not a comedian….Its really depressing though it seems like the great ones always die a little early and the full of shitters last a bit too long
Honestly, “comedian” was just his cover story. It was probably the only way to get people to listen to any of the stuff he wanted to talk about. “Oh, hey, isn’t this hilarious!? WE’RE ALL FUCKED! AHHHAHAHAHAHA, YOU MORONS!!!” ๐
On one of his last HBO specials when he started talking about how we dont have politicians, we have owners and about how this great land has been turned into a parking lot, and on and on he went is when I really started to understand what was really going on. Your both right, he was more of a teacher than comedian and maybe he was being made an example of. (but I still think it wasnt)
or not how we dont have politicians but how politicians are just there to give us the illusion of freedom or choice.
I was re-reading my posts and should say that though I do remember seeing him in the 80’s I was to young and to much in a fog to understand him yet. When I saw him on a late night show in around 2004 is when I started listening. He did that “I’m a modern man thing” from when will jesus bring the pork chops.
@Clevername LOL…
@sadsteve….have you ever seen him live? I wish I had the opportunity to.
AGREED!!
I love reading quotes that he made when I am too lazy to watch videos รขโฌโ they’re amazing!
@DN95 ….. If they taught half the things he spoke about in schools children would probably develop into better adults
