The only reason suicide has become a taboo subject is because we have lost touch with our relationship with death. We fear it because we are not expecting it. In the land of the stupid and absurd, death is so last year. The meat you eat? It arrives at the dinner table naturally grown into its styrene clam-shell packaging. And as for a discerning person’s response to a world of sloth and bereft of principles? Well there’s a tidy article down at Newsweek written by an expert to sum it all up so we can get back to business. The saddest thing about all this is that they ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait til things around the world really start to heat up.
I like how you’re name is like “frozen” and you ended that with “really start to heat up” lol.. yeah I see what you’re saying though, I think I do at least. Most people do treat death as something foreign and like we’re not all gonna get there. Cause we all will..weird.
And by “…really start to heat up.” i assume you mean post-infrastructure collapse, summer, and no one can turn on air-conditioning, because there are no solar-powered air conditioners.
Also: isn’t this the article that was written due to a guy’s dad’s suicide? …happened and son was like “why?” and then did some research, resulting in the article? Or that might have been a different article… but i thought it was this one. I saw this months ago (posted here), and it’s been posted on SP 3 times today. Funny how things cycle around like that.
Anyway, that’s a damn-fine comment you got there, Fro-.
