I jumped through that incrementally, without sound, read the headlines on each capped site, and it still made sense.
Get your monies ready to buy-in after the crash. From the bottom, it can only go up… unless of course the system shakes itself to pieces and stops functioning.
I don’t think recovery is going to be the outcome this time….just seems like too many things are happening at once….possibly war…..the Petro dollar possibly loosing its status…and now this…..I think thats why all these suspicious laws and bills were being signed….they know the bullshit is coming and they are preparing…..
I watch the show doomsday preppers and I realize those are some very smart individuals…They will be the ones standing after the dust settles
Just watch… recovery might not manifest in typically expected ways, but they’ll pull yet another rabbit out of their hat. Otherwise, maybe the revolution will finally happen? That would be awesome.
I would be a prepper if i had resources for it.
Someone needs to make a product called “Dr. Prepper.”
Can’t watch this right now, but, it’s really a tragedy that one can’t get anywhere in the stock market these days. I pretty much gave up on it after losing about 10K some years ago. Maybe if it rises again after a downturn I can have better luck. Dunno.
It might but I think a period of chaos will ensue …I think that was the real purpose of the NDAA to give the ability to do as they please when it does….I think they have the ability to stop a revolution currently…..wealth is power and you can buy most people off…..they can infiltrate the revolution easily and dismantle it from the inside out….
I would be also…. I would only need a filter to clean my urine ….plenty of non perishables….. a weed plant of course and proper growing materials…. and something to entertain me….a few books …..all in a nice small jail cell sized underground bunker I don’t need much room….
LOL dr prepper….would be my choice of drink in my bunker
@persephone WOW! seriously!? 10K? I’d shit bricks if I lost that much…. I mean to many people that’s not a grand sum of money but IMO anything over 1000$ is a lot of money considering how expensive things are these days….man that sucks
I think the key is that you have to be obsessed with methods of value, evaluation, and assessment of expected or predicted performance. Basically, you HAVE TO be an insider with special knowledge, in order to “play the market.” Who the hell plays a game with real money, without knowing exactly how it works, and why it does what it does? Not me. But “insider trading” is illegal… so you have to be a criminal and put all your own assets at risk of forfeiture, in order to gain anything worth effort. IMO, it’s not even worth it unless you are certain you can come away with $1mil+. 1mil is at least enough to buy an acre and build a house, and retire. If it can’t yield that or more, it’s not worth doing.
But yeah. Anyone who has liquid capital ready to invest in a valley, after the crash, in a company capable of recovery, is going to be in a great position to get rich… assuming, of course, that the dollar is still worth using afterward, and the countryslashplanet doesn’t completely destabilize into chaos.
“One” can get somewhere in the stock market. But it’s an outrageous amount of work, and success is not ensured. It’s still possible, and probably better odds than casinos or lotteries.
I might sound pathetic and very foolish but after I graduated highschool I was so obsessed with the lottery it was ridiculous ….I realize what an absolute dumbass and sucker I was now but after I got my first job after graduating I spent 2 whole checks on lottery tickets….straight mega millons….see with me not being very good at math my dumb ass logic was that if I buy a shit load at once eventually it will pop out a winning number….you can imagine my facial expression come the drawing night….I won a whopping 3$ out of all the fucking money I spent….I spent close to 700$….on megamillions lottery tickets *facepalm
Some people have a vested interest in a widespread belief that the dollar has a high value, while others have a vested interest in a widespread belief that dollars aren’t worth much, and that we should just spend them as we get them.
Employers, for example, want employees to believe their dollars are worth more than they actually are, while that same employer wants his customers to believe that their dollars are worth less than they actually are, so they will be more easily spent on whatever product the employer is selling. This keeps the labor cost lower, and the revenue higher, maximizing the profit margin.
Buy low, sell high.
Buying human labor for low, is harder without desperate workers…
Selling product at higher prices is harder with consumers who understand the proper value of a dollar.
Those desperate workers are often dismayed by the high price tags on items they feel they should deserve to own, due to the weight of their own labor… but are not paid well enough to afford. The scarcity of their dollars seems to imply increased value, but the price of the items they want, shows their dollars, and thus, their time, effort, energy… their very /lives/, are worth little, if anything, to their employers… or any “businessman,” for that matter. The rift is born. Underpaid workers can’t afford to stimulate the economy by spending their scarce dollars on consumer products instead of health maintenance and living expenses.
So who is buying all the stuff? Where is the “revenue” really coming from?
It’s all /debt/.
And it’s terrifying, once you start to see what’s really happening.
I would predict that ‘soon,’ or in the not-too-distant-future, some previously shadowed organization will step forward to inform us that they have claimed ownership of us all, and that they expect, and will enforce, that we must engage in whatever activities are assigned, in order to be allowed to remain alive.
Be a good little cog in the machine, or it will spit you out and crush you… unless all the cogs step up and refuse to budge, all at once… and manage to stop the machine cold in its tracks.
I think the Hyenas running the lottery corp. were very pleased with their 700$ lotto ticket jackpot. They’re the ones holding the real lotto winning ticket. Meanwhile you came out empty handed. Well at-least you won 3$ right? See the corporation & government alike do not give a fuck about you, or me, or anyone! It’s only interested in expanding its own agenda while feeding you the illusion that someday you will be a multi million dollar rockstar. And the next day it’s all over again. Go to the shit job to make another lousy buck.
This is all so tiring. I need to retire in Maui, go swimming everyday, and ditch all electronic devices.
That’s the secret to life. Living in a warm place without any electronic devices.
Well they did a damn good job on swindling me out my cash….but see back then I was another sheep….I believed everything on T.V anyways and I never looked at the big picture…. I believed in the bullshit slogan “somebody has to win might as well be you”….just bullshit….I think its rigged anyways I think they decide when to let somebody win to keep up the charade that you can win….
@persephone Man I can see why…that’s a fucking bummer…
@C4 you telling some truth there ….any uncharted island is fine with me…
someone does win…but that person has a better chance of being struck by lightning or eaten by a shark than winning the lottery.
The lottery is for people who don’t understand math/statistics. A 1 in 176,000,000 chance? ***** please.
@C4 LOL welp that makes me the perfect sucker then because I suck ass in math…..anything even remotely complicated and its over for me….I was fine in it until they started adding letters and shit
I don’t think there is any “secret to life.” It’s just life. It is what it is, and if you’re born in the wrong spot, and can’t make a good way, tough shit.
My biggest desire these days is to have zero requirements, but somehow be comfortable and have access to enjoyable diversions. I don’t see any way to accomplish that without making as much or more money than i’ll ever need. And since i’m just so tired of this life, i can’t seem to manufacture enough energy or focus, to be able to manifest any “miracles” required to accomplish making that much money.
Maybe the “secret” to life, is that none of us are obligated to live.
We can die if we want to. We can leave our “friends” behind…
We aren’t there yet. Something strange is going on, but the truth is that nature abhors change. People will hold onto every vestige until there is nothing yet left to live for. They will sell everything good in this world for the guarantee of low-energy survival. There are at least dozens of possible things that can cause a tremor which would upset “the system”. But it is so invested in that the likely outcome is a slow, grinding breakdown that will last for years and years and years. Things will “change” but only in the way systems do to adapt. The important thing is that the status quo remains. And in order to get rid of it, we’d have to choose otherwise.
Good thing I’ll be making my exit. Had a date tonight with a really nice girl who is way out of my league. I think she really believed there was something redeeming about me and instead, in the middle of conversation I told her I was tired and left. I just don’t care. I don’t care about people’s hopes, aspirations, and problems, and certainly not my own. There is something so thoroughly wrong with me that I couldn’t change a thing if I wanted to. It’s too overwhelming being a part of the problem and knowing that you aren’t good enough or even enlisted to help fix it.
I’ve been saying it for years: not enough people really want to change… and until that particular degree of “enough people” actually occurs, nothing will change significantly. Things will gradually drift from one scheme to another, but ultimately, “the little guy” always gets stomped and discarded, while the machine keeps churning.
I don’t think i’m a terrible or particularly ineffective person, due to my inability to correct this enormous monstrosity. It’s just too big a problem, too deeply hooked-in and long-term established, for little-ole-me to do anything relevant about it… and not enough people really want anything to change.
Maybe if they just hold steady for long enough, everyone like me will be gone, and then they won’t have to think anymore.
For me… i think the worst part is knowing that knowing the problem even exists, and knowing i don’t want to contribute to perpetuating it, automatically results in ostracism and demonization. So now, i’m excluded from any of the benefits of the system, while subjected to an elevated cost of consequences for dissent… and it’s not just some faceless entity called “the system,” it’s /people/. The very same people who insist that i should want to support something that works against my life… are the ones who decide to enable that system continue to work against me. The benefits they receive from said system, are clearly more important to them, than any amount of suffering it causes to other people, including those they claim to care about. It’s all so fucked up. There isn’t anyone i can even talk to, or even anyone i can even hope to encounter in the real world, who would even begin to understand where i’m coming from.
Some people anxiously jump to the erroneous conclusion that they are unwanted, or even hated… but i’m still trying to not come to that conclusion, and every observation indicates it is actually true, for me; i am unwanted here. Other people want to pretend i don’t exist, until i don’t exist… and then act as if i never existed.
Why would anyone want to live in such a world, in such a position?
I just don’t see anything else worth living for. I can’t access any of the things everyone agrees make life worth living. Time is passing and i’m getting worse. I knew this would happen, but instead of helping me fix problems when i identified them long ago, everyone pretended i was just being negative, and that problems didn’t exist. They’re making obstructions, while accusing me of making excuses… but i don’t recall excusing anyone for obstructing me. They are literally “making excuses.” They are creating, fabricating false justification for ruining my life, and then calling me negative for complaining about it and calling them on it.
I know what you’re saying and I agree, especially when referring to the system as just a collection of individual people making individual decisions. Same goes for “important” people. It’s kind of pathetic when you hear someone admit that their problems are solely due to some shadowy banking family or my personal favorite, “goddamn Obama dun-did-it”. For instance, at work I have questions. I’m trying to increase my competency and thus legitimacy, yet they blow me off like nothing matters. Here’s a situation where their actions can have real, positive results not only for someone else but also themselves, and they do nothing. Then later on they come up to me and ask me if I heard how the Democrats are destroying the country. I may certainly be apathetic, but I didn’t start the trend.
In regards to what you said about ostracism and the like, that is the worst part about it. This is ghetto culture and the race to the bottom. Where the attitude is not create life and opportunity and taking at least your share of responsibility, but stealing whatever ain’t nailed to the floor. And then coming back for the flooring. This is a theme that runs through every organization and business in this country. Doing the honest thing and hitting the brakes when pomp is held higher than purity will ruin a person.
I’ll admit, I play the lottery from time to time. No, it’s not because I expect to win the grand prize, but occasionally I win a smaller sum of money that is worth more than what I bought the ticket for. Not often, but sometimes.
Fuck the lotto….those bitches have taken enough of my money….you know I did a bit of googling and it could be pure coincidence….but did you know in NY in 2002 one year after 9/11 that the pick three came back as 911 on the 1st anniversary of 9/11?…. I mean really WTF….that’s just beyond luck…. I think it was rigged to be that way and if they can do it for 1 day then they can do it for all days…..
There are numerous instances of similar “phenomena” like that. It’s them hinting and lifting the veil for mysterious glimpses, sometimes even blatantly and openly stating it, mocking us all; they know most people don’t get it, and those who do, have no recourse.
Jesus, these new avatar things are becoming mainstream now, aren’t they? I’ve always been reluctant to jump into a fad.
Yeah, playing the lottery isn’t the most intelligent thing I’ve done. It doesn’t hurt though, it’s not like I’m playing it every week or even every month. If I didn’t spend that money on a ticket I’d probably have spent it on some other useless shit.
@clevername…Man…whoever is pulling those strings?… they are some sick twisted Mofos man….
@SB….I like my new yoda one lol I didn’t care about it at first but C4 with her cool avatars made me want to give it a go and see if I liked it…..
I know I wasn’t the first idiot who blew that much on lottery tickets though and I certainly won’t be the last…. I wonder whats the most anybody has spent on them ever?….
Yep, they are. They love being pseudo-cryptic and symbolic. They’re like over-the-top comic-book-style ultra-sinister super-villains, including henchmen. Imagine the menacing evil laughter, while they all do “the Mr. Burns.” (that thing where he holds his hands close together, palms apart, tips touching, and says “myezzz” while smirking; alternatively: giant cockroach villain from family guy: “GOOood… Goood.”)
