Whenever i’m depressed or pissed off, i turn to LOUD,FAST and HEAVY music. Some metal bands that i like are Metallica,Slayer,Megadeth,Iron Maiden,Black Sabbath and many more.
Astronomy by Metallica is a good one. So is the original tune by Blue Oyster Cult.
Other than that… I listen to basically everything except for like, modern-day country (too schmaltzy, but I like some folk). Don’t really care for screamo, it’s just not my style. Almost anything else is fair game. My iTunes library is terribly random. I have awesome taste really.
BTW I did try to like screamo but couldn’t, so don’t fault me. I still like alternative, grunge, punk, garage, progressive rock, and industrial, softcore, neo-classical, symphonic power metal, some 80’s metal bands, and so on. (I like a tonne of other genres as well.)
I keep coming back to the notion that “Eye of the Beholder” is probably my favorite Metallica song… but “Shortest Straw” i think ties it, and has the best metal guitar solo ever recorded. I love their instrumentals too.
hyro mentioned megadeth…
A toss-up between hangar-18, 99 ways to die, angry again, and the entire countdown to extinction album. I love how countdown starts with that hot-rod-exhaust-sounding drum thing at the beginning of skin o’ my teeth. Marty’s guitar work with megadeth was nothing short of legendary. His phrasing has always struck me as tasteful and masterful; technically superior, while remaining artful.
Meshuggah needs to be mentioned here.

AJFA has some of Kirk’s best works and Orion i believe is a masterpiece. One quick question bro…what according to you are the top 5 best metal albums ever made?
Ever heard of Masterplan, Seventh Wonder, Dream Theater, Quo VAdis, Am I Blood, or Puscifier? Ah, I mean to say, metal music? Like, music made out of solid steel beams being dropped on cars? That doesn’t sound very pleasant… Gimme some Vivaldi over that any day, man.
I like heavy metal but i just love grunge music.trance.breakbeat.grunge bands i like soundgarden, mother love bone, alice in chains, melvins estc.break beat you know prodigy apollo 440 crystal method

Does that answer your question?
If not, feel free to check my posts. I’m sure you’ll find some indications of my musical preferences, therein.
I love megadeth!!! My favorite song is a tie between a route let monde and sweating bullets. I like every genre though rap rock metal and some country
Anything relatable to how I feel
