There she lay
In the middle of the floor
With a hand full of pills
The dresser blocking her door
Tears of tourture
Stream down her face
Its finally time
She leaves this place
Her breath, more shallow
Her heart beat slows
She goes back to the place
Where the anxiety grows
She shuts her eyes
To see them standing there
And goes back to the time
When somebody cared
She hears the laughter
Of her childrens delight
And hears the sweet whisper
“I love you mommy, good night”
The little voices
Reek havoc in her head
Knowing she won’t hear them
She knows she’s better off dead
“Mommy, come with me,
I don’t like this at all”
She watched them drive away
Her fists strike the wall
“Please, mommy”
He cries
“I’ll be a good boy
Don’t let her take us”
Tears fill her eyes
Falling to her knees
She feels as if she failed
But the rumors around her
The lies and long tales
She drifts into darkness now
Knowing she did what she could
She fought to her last breath
Like any momma would
As the day grows dark
And her skin grows colder
She hopes they’ll forgive her
When they get older
She leaves a short note
For her babies to read
To remind them she’ll be there
Whenever they’re in need
“My precious little girl
I know you won’t understand this
Whether you’re big or you’re small
I just want you to know
Its not your fault at all
I love you, keep shining
With your smile that lights a room
I’m always here with you
I’ll see you again soon”
“My little knight in shining armour
You’re such a smart little man
I’ll be with you forever
Guiding you and holding your hand
Take care of your brother
Love him and guide him
All you have is eachother”
“My handsome prince
You’re tough and you’re strong
You’re independant and true
I may not be here
But I’ll always be with you.”
You three are my world
That will never change
To make it through life,
It must be treated like a game
She held the picture so tightly
And kissed it once more
As her last breath escaped her
Her hand hit the floor
She did what she could
There’s nothing left to gain
She’s in her final resting place
She’s no longer in pain

Did you write that? It’s beautiful.
Yes I did.
Thank you.
It is a poem of my own personal trauma
Beautiful.
Beautiful. Why is it someone that can write something so beautiful wants to badly to die. The world needs more beauty. That is why I have to go– I don’t contribute jack.
If you read my other post “I’m done” it explains everything…. Well not everything, but a lot
