So many people here are depressed, they don’t feel, or feel nothing but pain. But it gets better.
I have never been depressed, but all my life I have been around the clinically depressed. This has been, well, depressing, but it has also taught me something
Being depressed isn’t a choice, but getting better is. Just hold on
Many here wish for death, but there is a whole world out there waiting.
Get help.
So many here are young. Talk to your parents, a school counseled. Others are old, but there are still so many help programs.
Suicide is not a choice, but getting better is.

You have never been depressed but have been around clinically depressed all your life?
So sorry it has been DEPRESSING for you despite “never having been depressed”
Irony much?
Yes – depression is a choice.
RIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHT
Now how about not telling people here who already feel awful that shit as you clearly have never had depression.
Why not say PULL UP YOUR BOOTSTRAPS, LAZY CRYBABY? while you’re at it. Way to push people off a cliff – enough already feel like a failure.
How do you know it gets better?
What if the “help” doesn’t help? I find that there really aren’t that many help programs, depending on where you live…
I’d like to point out that in some cases, parents and school counsellors can be the worst people to speak to.
Also, what poison said ^^ how DO you know that it’s better for the depressed people around you? How do you know that they aren’t just acting in order to stop, oh yes “depressing” you?
PS suicide is a choice, a monumental one. Might want to fix that last sentence.
What might truly help is speaking with another suicidal person. They’ll ‘get’ you, because they will understand why you feel that way, rather than judge you and think you must be out of your mind. However, if someone actively influences you towards killing yourself – I would not consider that to be worthy assistance. It would be best to talk to somebody who knows how it feels, but is doing their best to avoid such dark thoughts.
Suicide isn’t a choice? I’m sure thousands of people CHOOSE to commit suicide every day. It IS a choice and a choice people make when they feel their purpose has been fulfilled.
Just because its not YOUR choice doesn’t mean it isn’t someone elses.
Who are you to speak when you’ve never been in depressions death grip?
Answer that! You seem to have an answer to everything else………
