I’ve never really had that low of self-esteem, but I did stop eating for several days one time. I also have never cut, but I was very close to trying one time.
You really need to eat though, unless you are overeating, but most people that I know who become severely depressed tend to starve themselves.
I don’t know if it helps, but if it does, you may need to focus on yourself more. I have cared quite a bit about what others think about me, and now I realise that everyone is ultimately worthless, worthwhile, or whatever. What really matters is yourself in the end. If that makes me selfish for thinking that the self matters most, so be it.
