I feel sorry for you. Losing someone so close to you is probably the hardest thing that can happen in your life.

I don’t know whether you are religious or whether you want to hear this. But when a person that meant very much to me died, I mourned, but I knew he is in a better place. He is watching over you wherever you go. You will eventually get to be united with him again, but only god can decide when that will be. You should never forget about him, but being in sorrow hurts him, too. When you think about him, about the happy moments you had together, he will be with you and share those moments with you. Think about what you would want him to do if he was left alone on earth mourning over you: Would you want him to be depressed, in sorrow for the rest of his life? Or would you want him to go on with his life, smiling when he thinks about you? Also, sharing your sorrow with others who knew him and talking about him can be a great relief.
